Renovations to exterior stairs and plazas were performed to improve safety and reduce maintenance requirements at exits.
The original building was served by large open stairs and bridges, which were subject to icing and accelerated brick failure. The Project involved removal of the open stairs and bridges, and provision of full height, internal exit stairs and enlarged entry areas.
