JPM Architecture Inc. – formerly Allan Avis Architects Inc., reconstructed their office on West Street, following its total destruction during the 2011 F3 tornado. Complying with Heritage Goderich and Zoning By Laws, the original one-story building was being replaced with a two-storey, insulated concrete form, structure in keeping with the historical theme of the West Street Heritage District. This multi-use commercial building is barrier-free accessible, complete with barrier-free thresholds, extra wide doorways, large, barrier-free washrooms and an elevator to the second floor unit.
