London, Ontario

Adaptive reuse of existing vacant, vintage building that had experienced fire damage. The building measures 22′-0″ wide x 182′-0″ long and 3 storeys high, with 2 street facades and was renovated to accommodate a law office and commercial suite in London’s downtown core. The client made an effort to preserve as much of the original building and materials as possible and, as a result, was awarded the 2014 ACO Award.

In the pursuit of sustainable development, communities have much to gain from adapting and reusing existing buildings.
