Allan Avis Architects Inc. is a full service practice based in Goderich, Ontario, Canada. Serving the south-western Ontario area. Projects with which we have been involved cover a broad range of building types, including institutional, recreational, residential and commercial, encompass renovations, restorations and new construction.

 

In addition to basic designs, drawings, imaging and construction related services, we also conduct feasibility studies, planning studies, barrier-free audits, building condition assessment reports, code compliance upgrading and negotiations with capital grant authorities.
We also provide is Construction Management, services providing the client with "one-stop shopping", carrying the design services through to the completion of construction. Under this type of arrangement, the traditional roles and relationship of Owner/General Contractor disappear. The Construction Manager issues bid packages directly to the trade contractors, awards contracts, provides site management, administrative and technical services solely for the benefit of the Owner. This system has proven to be very effective in controlling costs and meeting completion/occupancy dates while maintaining quality control.
